Guides & FAQ

Useful things to know before wallpaper day.

Wallpaper becomes easier to choose when the practical pieces are visible. Here are a few of the questions that commonly shape an installation conversation.

01 · Material

Traditional, peel-and-stick, or specialty?

Traditional wallpaper may involve paste, a pattern repeat, and careful handling. Peel-and-stick can be a good fit for some feature walls, but the wall still needs to be suitable and the installation still benefits from a measured start. Specialty wallcoverings may bring texture, weight, scale, or handling considerations of their own.

02 · Surface

Why does wall preparation matter?

Wallpaper follows the surface beneath it. Uneven texture, old adhesive, patches, dust, or a wall that is not ready for the material can affect adhesion and the way seams read. Preparation helps the paper meet the room with fewer surprises.

03 · Pattern

What is pattern matching?

Pattern matching is the process of aligning the design from one drop or panel to the next. Large repeats, murals, and strong geometrics make the starting point and seam planning especially important around corners, doors, windows, and other interruptions.

04 · Estimate

What should I have ready?

You can call with a simple idea. If available, room dimensions, a photo, the wallpaper name, and notes about the wall can make a later estimate conversation more specific. None of them should stop you from reaching out.

Questions customers ask

Can I call before I know my wall measurements?

Yes. You can talk through the room and the idea first. Woodland can explain what details would be helpful next, and you can ask whether an on-site assessment or measurements may be arranged.

Do you install wallpaper in commercial spaces?

Yes. Commercial wallpaper installation is one of the confirmed services. Call to discuss the space, material, scope, and next steps.

Can you remove existing wallpaper?

Yes. Wallpaper removal and wall preparation are available. Existing layers and the condition underneath can affect the work involved.

Do you install murals and specialty wallcoverings?

Yes. Specialty wallcovering installation is available, including materials where scale, texture, or pattern alignment deserves careful planning.

Is a site visit included?

Call to ask whether an on-site consultation, inspection, or measurement visit can be arranged for your project. Availability is subject to confirmation; no visit is promised or represented as free.
